Petko Mihailovich:

Born in Escondido, CA in 1976, Petko is a man of many talents. He started tattooing at the age of 19, and enjoyed it for a couple of years before starting a chapter of his life doing video shooting and editing. Petko continued doing video production for a couple of years, working on various projects until the early 200s when he came to the realization that tattooing and drawing is where is heart truly is. He began a formal apprenticeship, and after completing it (about 1 year) he began tattooing at different shops around San Diego county until finally finding Escondido Body Art three years ago. He has been there ever since and is very happy with his position in this revolutionary tattoo studio.
Petko has been surfing and skateboarding for the better part of 30 years and a lot of his art had been influenced by these and other hobbies that include a passion for fishing and for cars. He took art classes to improve his craft, and also got a chance to learn from some of the best in the industry. He does mostly watercolor paintings, and his favorite tattoo styles are Japanese and traditional color, but also enjoys doing black and grey pieces.
