Gerardo “Gerry/Harry” Flores

Gerry started tattooing in 2002 “the hard way” (out of his house.) The first tattoo he ever did was a skull and rose on his own knee, which has been extended to the lower part of his shin. The piece is dedicated to his grandfather, who is now in heaven, may his soul rest in peace. After that, he continued tattooing by referral and word of mouth for the next 3 years.
Gerry held his first official tattooing position at Hole in the Wall here in Escondido. He held a position at American Pride Tattoo in Fallbrook before finding his current home at Escondido Body Art. He has been tattooing here since January of 2009. Gerry enjoys doing tattoos of all styles, and even though he finds himself doing mainly black and grey, traditional lettering and color, he doesn’t identify himself with any particular style, as he loves tattooing in general.
